This 120–year-old Hyde Park residence was renovated top to bottom while still retaining all of its classic charm. Upgrades included custom Amish cabinetry and Sub-Z and Wolf appliances in the kitchen, radiant heating beneath new birch flooring, custom fireplace mantels with handmade tile surrounds, and new trim through out which was milled to match historic profiles. Customized lighting and panel molding were carefully designed to highlight the owner’s extensive art collection. Energy efficiency was maximized with the extensive use of closed cell insulation throughout the house.
